Passionate about my local community and with a background of being a school governor I recognised the need to support young people to achieve, I also feel there is a great importance to support people in social isolation. I strive to bring people together in the local community.

I became a dad at 19 to a ready made family and added to this over the years, now in my 60's and having taught young adults most of my life I still want to support the young people and help them to feel safe and secure in the community. I know the importance of intergenerational support and as part of my role will be exploring this in 2020.

Young and enthusiastic with a Masters in Classics , but living with an hidden disability I want to support others in the community to achieve and lead by example. Having achieved by living and attending local schools up to A levels gaining A* in business studies applying my gained knowledge. 

I have worked in schools as a teaching assistant and specialise also in ADS but with two young people I am very much in touch with current issues young parents have to cope with. I am the trustee who supports our parent and none parent volunteers!
